As some may remember from my last topic, I was having a little trouble with finding some vital programs on my computer (i.e microsoft paint and sound recorder). But now, with a little unexpected help from Google, I've found my paint program. Though the icon looks different, but it is still a paint program. I found it by searching mspaint.exe... and I tried to find the sound recorder in this way, but it failed.

So, I was wondering what the name for the sound recorder is, like how paint is mspaint.exe... and I would like to know if just a simple search could help me find it. Once again, thanks for the help. =)

Hi CookJate

To get the sound recorder, go Start ~~> run ~~>In the empty box type: sndrec32.exe

Or you could use the long way, by going Start ~~> All Programs ~~> Accessories ~~> Entertainment ~~> Sound Recorder.

I hope this helps you

Warm regards
Kyle
