Hey everyone! Can someone help? I have an older computer that came with Windows ME. Along the way some portions of ME are missing and I can't find my original disk. I am unable to put my PDA installation, web cam and so forth on my computer because it always asks for that disk. Is there something I can download from Microsoft or elsewhere to replace this missing disk?

Nope. You could buy a cheap WinME CD on ebay.

ME aside from not being supported by M$ anymore, it is the worst excuse of a operating system that they every released. I would look for a copy of W2k Pro, it is and will continue to be supported for another five years, and you should be able to get a copy at a good price. Unlike XP W2k is low on resource ussage.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

When it askes for a ME cd try pointing it out to the Windows - Options - Cabs folder, if present.
Some box makers put the cab files there sometimes.
In the beginning there was the command line.
