Hi all

I have the following installed on my home computer and was wondering if I have too many, and if so, which are the best to keep or uninstall. None of them are currently set to a schedule, so I am thinking that there should not be any conflicts. However, I am not a "computer genius" far from it, so any advice is welcome.

AVG AntiVirus
AVGAntiSpyware
AD-Aware Personal
BFU (never used it)
Spybot S&D
Spyware Blaster
SpywareGuard
SuperAntiSpyWare

CCleaner
AFT

Firewall: ZoneAlarm

And you would imagine that i never get infected. Wrong !!

Thanks

Looks like you have a pretty good setup.
You can run as many Antispyware applications, as your resources can handle.
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P, CPU: Phenom II X4 955 Deneb BE, HS/F: CoolerMaster V8, RAM: 2 x 1G Kingston HyperX DDR2 800, VGA: ECS GeForce Black GTX 560, PSU: Antec TruePower Modular 750W, Soundcard: Asus Xonar D1, Case: CoolerMaster COSMOS 1000, Storage: Internal - 2 x Seagate 250GB SATA, 2 x WD 1TB SATA; External - Seagate 500GB USB, WD 640GB eSATA, 3 x WD 1TB eSATA

That looks like a great set up. I don't use BFU or Super Antispyware, but I do use A-squared Free. And I also use Kerio Firewall which works fine.

Also, I assume that you use Firefox browser or Opera or some other Non - Internet Explorer browser for added security? If you are, then that's great. If not, I think this board would highly suggest it.
