Hello,

I am planning to buy a motherboard. I am not sure if I should buy one with NVIDIA AGP

chipset or VIA AGP Chipset? Which chipset would be better for watching DVDs in particular?

I am considering Asus A7N400-MX mobo with the VIA KT400A chipset? Any views on this?

I say Nvidia but im sure VIA is good too. It dont take much to watch a dvd are you upgrading a old pc?

I just like Nvidia im sure others might say something else about it.

As for the Asus MB your on the spot there. Im also looking at that type for building me a new pc.

I have Nvidia also and I'm happy with it. I don't know about Via so I can't be too objective here. Have you tried Googling for the information?

Good luck and Congrats on your upcoming purchases and/or upgrades.
