Hi, I read the preparation guide before posting a HijackThis Log, but since I'm very new to this world of spyware, etc. I would appreciate it if somebody could help me with the following log:
(When I log into my PC, I get about 4 dialog boxes with the title: Indication, and message: the process is already running)

Thanks

You may want to print this or save it to notepad as we will go to safe mode.

Fix these with HiJackThis – mark them, close IE, click fix checked

DownLoad http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip or
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/killbox.exe

Restart your computer into safe mode now. (Tapping F8 at the first black screen) Perform the following steps in safe mode:

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Now put a tick by Standard File Kill. In the "Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste each of the following lines one at a time then click on the button that has the red circle with the X in the middle after you enter each file. It will ask for confimation to delete the file. Click Yes. Continue with that same procedure until you have copied and pasted all of these in the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\czpeexk.dll
C:\Program Files\Hdbagbj
C:\Program Files\Uztdh
C:\WINNT\system32\msnmsng.exe

Note: It is possible that Killbox will tell you that one or more files do not exist. If that happens, just continue on with all the files. Be sure you don't miss any.

START – RUN – type in %temp% - OK - Edit – Select all – File – Delete

Delete everything in the C:\Windows\Temp folder or C:\WINNT\temp

Not all temp files will delete and that is normal
Empty the recycle bin
Boot

· On the main screen, under Scan for Harmful Software click Scan your computer.
· On the left check C:\Fixed Drive.
· On the right, under Complete Scan, choose Perform Complete Scan.
· Click Next to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
· After the scan is complete a summary box will appear. Click OK.
· Make sure everything in the white box has a check next to it, then click Next.

Thank you very much for your fast response.
I followed all your instructions, as you gave them and everything worked.
The only thing is, is that I'm still getting that dialog box once I've logged in with tile: Indicator, and message: the process is already running. I actually wasn't getting that when I rebooted straight after the safe mode.
Another strange thing that is happening is that I'm getting multiple copies of the language bar on the task bar (bottom right hand side).
Here are the findings from the SUPERAntiSpyware Scan log, and the HijackThis.

(thanks again)

Download http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
· Restart your computer
· After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
· Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
· Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
· Choose your usual account.
· Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
· Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
· It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
· Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
· When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
· Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
· Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log

Hi again!
I logged on today, and still got the dialog box (title: Indicator, text: Application is already running, and an OK button) - 5 of them opened up. So I decided to run HijackThis without having closed them first.
(One strange thing is that I've unistalled MSNMessenger from my PC, and yet the log shows that it's running!

Thanks!
