Cd Drive Is There And Working, But Programs Dont Think Its A Burner?

I use corel Photoalbum pro and nero - when i go into my computer i see my burner, and it can play disks. BUT nero doesn't even detect the drive, and Corel sees the drive (d), but when i say burn it gives me a its not a burner error..

help please

What brand of CD drive do you have?
