I did not see this posted elsewhere. Startup Monitor at: http://www.mlin.net/StartupMonitor.shtml
is great for monitoring what is being entered into your startup menu, mostly will see it active during installs, but some applications try to put themselves in every time they are used, like MS Works (yuk!) Check it out.
