Hi everyone

I have been trying to connect my XP Pro SP2 PC to my nice new Xbox 360. It seems simple, but i am confused. I have a netgear wireless router with my rj45 network cable for my PC, and a rj45 connection for my xbox 360, for xbox live,in second connection on router, so it is a fully wired network. To connect the console to the pc, you require sharing software, Zune or WMP 11, i am using WMP 11. I tried Zune first, but WMP 11 does the exact same thing.

This is the step i followed : from xbox site

Mainly my problem is, My PC can Detect the XBOX 360 that i want to share with, but when i try to connect via the xbox it finds no PC. I enabled the ports as instructed from site

Firewall Port Settings

Does it need to be a direct PC to XBOX 360 connection? This makes no sense as i would not have an internet connection then.

Where am i going wrong?
