Wireless While Traveling

I have a Dell Truemobile 1400 Dual band Wlan Mini-PCI card installed on my laptop. Do I need any addtional hardware?

No, not as long as you're in range of a wireless hotspot/access point. If you didn't already know, those only have a range of a few hundred feet or so, so it's not like you'll be able to drive around and have uninterrupted internet access (you'll need one of those cell phone broadband cards for that). But if you pull in to a restaurant or hotel and they provide wifi, you'll have access.
