Hello Guys..Here i am again.. =D hmmm...i am having this 17" Sumsung SyncMaster710n.When i watch movie on my comp,after a while like 10mins or so it will switch to standby mode.Is there anyway i can get rid or the standby mode?cause u know its irritating when you watch a show half way and it jus went blank.But when i press ESC on my keyboard it returned to the screen.Any idea how to get rod of the standby mode thingy? =D

As a first obvious question have you tried to verify how your energy saving settings are for your monitor. Right cick on an empy space on your desktop, right click - Properties - and something like screen saver or general settings. You will than see your energy savings settings.

as in the turn off monitor setting? i resetted it as never. =D thanks lots..hmmm this topic can be closed now.
