Partition Wont Extend On Vista By Diskmanager

Hello,

I have a problem:

Have a disk of 40 G, and Vista instalatin have taken me almost 8 G on my first partiton, now i have shrinked D:\ partition and made testing 100 MB of space to transfer to C:\, but damn thing doesnt show me option to extend C:\ , it is grey as on screenshot.

What sholud I do, I am almost out of space on it :huh:

And is there anything fow quck deleting unnecesery system files such as demo movies backgrounds, off system restore etc?

You may have to use a 3rd party utility to expand D: into the free space, then shrink it from the other end, providing the necessary space for the C: partition to expand.

Another option is to create a partition in the free space and point your My Documents (or data) storage to it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I don't know whether it is Vista compatible but I would suggest Gparted which is very much user friendly
