I've a got a Dell Inspiron 9300 that has shorted out 3 ac adapters and now I can't get it to charge at all with the adapter I have now. I had to replace the dc jack once before but I'm still having this problem. To get it to charge I have to wiggle the plug left and right to try to get it to connect, which it does 1 out of 10 tries. My main question here is what would be causing it to short out my power plugs like that? And What can I do to fix it?

bad connection/poorly made connector could cause that

something must have been wired wrong to cause 3 adapters to short out, and you probably fried it in the process too, have you taken it to a local tech shop to open it up or , opened it up yourself and seen aynthing visibly wrong?
