I am using an s-video cable. When I connect my laptop to my tV I can see the desktop and the mouse and any program I load all looks fine on the TV. But when I try and play videos using Windows Media Player the video does not come up on the TV screen. IS there something Im not doing or could it be that it doesnt work with a Rear Projection TV.

Any help?

I know this is a pretty simple probem to fix... but I have never needed to do it.
I'm pretty sure its a codec problem and complications with your video card drivers. I would first try a different media player or type of video.

Try another media player. I've experienced this problem with WMP at work with the large screen TV that we use for demonstrations. Haven't found a fix for it yet, but will be watching here for further replies.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
