I just purchased Office 2003. I went to update at MS official site and saw Office 2007 is available.
Does anyone know if this is the full release or a beta version? Is the update from 2003 free? Is it worth it?
What do you guys think?

Office2007 is in public release---but double check the description at whatever site you are looking at--- and updating it would not be free. Some things to consider:
1. Unless you do collaborative work, the 2007 does not provide major increases in functionality.
2. The new user interface will require a learning curve if you are used to older versions of Office.
3. The file structure is different from prior versions, and there are unanswered questions about compability.

Most companies that depend on Office applications will not upgrade for some time.

I currently use MS office 2007 (sometimes) when I need to do things and I will say this
when I changed to 07, I was used to the old version of like 2000 and 2003.

the interface for 07 is EXTREMELY different

And I am not kidding about this, there are no true menus like before its more visual now instead whichi n some ways is good, but its really tricky to learn how to get ot everything at the start

once you get it going though, its a really simple interface and really different from the previous versions
