Hello from Minnesota, USA.
I'm here because my daughters PC running Windows XP SP2 has a problem I'm trying to figure out. It does not allow her to do some important things like installing and running a firewall, installing Windows defender or IE 7, etc.
I hope this site can help me figure this out.

Welcome to BC!
If you cannot find the resolution to your problem already discussed, please don't hesitate to post about it. It would be important for you to include any error messages you might get when the installation fails, and how far you get in the process.
Regards,
John
