Howdy,

This morning I attempted to move a program that was listed under all programs and it has now disappeared altogether.

This is what I did. I clicked on start and than all programs. I then left clicked over the program that I wanted to move, held the button down and tried to drag the program down to where I wanted it. I then released the mouse button. The name of the program is now nowhere to be seen.

Apparently I have done something wrong. Could someone please tell me how to recoup the program name and also tell me the proper way to change the positions of the programs should I choose to do so ?

Thank You for your time.

Windows XP Home, SP2, IE 7

You may have accidentally moved it into another folder so do a search for it first. If you can't find the existing shortcut,
create a new shortcut for the program, drag it onto the Start Menu, and move it where you want.
