During the last 2 years the program HijackThis has not been renewed. How come?

Some analysers of malware is using a new program WinPFind3U to do the work.

You cannot find much information about it.

Can you supply the information.

There has not been much of a need to update HijackThis as the tool still does what it was designed to do. However, in mid-August, Merijn posted that he is working on a new version (1.99.2). See here.

WinPFind3U is one part of a two part tool. One designed for the user getting help and one designed for the analyst who is assisting. It is an advanced tool created by OldTimer that should only be used under the guidance and supervision of a malware removal expert.
