Recently, my wife downloaded some wintertime wallpaper and we "inherited" a bunch of whenusearch garbage. I've done alot of looking around, but can't find the correct way to get rid of it. It doesn't appear to have a high threat level - but I just want to completely clean my computer of it. Keith

As you can see Here there are two ways of removing WhenUSearch from your computer.

If you are still having problems after trying to remove it from Add and Remove Programs,in situations like this it is advised that you ask follow the steps in this Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log.

Thank you very much - there are no items in add/remove programs so I'll follow the preparation and procedure for HJT tomorrow. Actually it's probably long overdue. Keith
