Two days ago, downloaded Adaware Professional Ed. As it was installed, the Professional uninstalled the Personal ed which had been configured. QUESTIONS
1.> do I have to reconfigure the Professional Edition? If yes, please show me how to do that.

2.> how do I send a recent scan's log to you for your helping me to determine if there are items
in the log which should be changed, attended to..... etc. LOG from a Adawe Professional ..
How do I get a particular Log of AdAware's professional and, how do I get it to you???

3.> I think I have HiJack on my desktop. Do I use this to get a log to you?

You can setup & configure Ad-aware as shown here. In general, its best to just let Ad-aware fix whatever it finds during its scan.

If your referring to Hijackthis, then yes, that is what you use to create a log. Make sure you are using the current version which is HijackThis 1.99.1.

Post your log in the HijackThis Logs and Analysis Forum, NOT here, for assistance by the HJT Team Experts. A member of the Team will walk you through, step by step, on how to clean your computer. If you post your log back in this thread, the response from the HJT Team will be delayed because your post will have to be moved. This means it will fall in line behind any others posted that same day.

Start a new topic, give it a relevant title and post your log along with a brief description of your problem, a summary of any anti-malware tools you have used and a summary of any steps that you have performed on your own. Please include the top portion of the HijackThis log that lists version information. An expert will analyze your log and reply with instructions advising you what to fix.
