I was saddened to hear this on TV.He was a legend and a real showman.
I have loved his soul music, and his raspy voice for years.I am sure his legend will live on.
My favourite song of his was "I FEEL GOOD" Anyone else here on BC like his music??

He was indeed the godfather of soul.

He was 73. He lived a very long and prosperous life.

Good-by James Brown.
