If I have a great firewall, a super antispyware, an excellent AV, an email scanner (heuristics being also addressed) and pre-scan all downloads, can a keylogger still get to me.

I don't have a standalone anti-keylogging program (they all cost $50-$90).

Fun Merry Christmases to all

Using the proper defensive tools and keeping them all up to date certainly will help. However, you need to combine that with common sense and safe surfing habits. Even doing all that, there is no 100% guarantee against malware infection (accidents do happen) but the odds will be in your favor.

AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 offers some protection against many types of keyloggers. It is free for 30 days and all the extensions of the full version will be activated. After the 30 day trial, active protection extensions will be deactivated and the program will turn into a feature-limited freeware version that you can continue to use as an on-demand scanner for free or you may purchase a license to use the full version.

If your going to give it a try, be sure to print out and follow the AVG Anti-Spyware Install-Scan Instructions and read the User Manual.
