hello, I am looking to find the original dos version 3.1 not the windows 3.1 but the disk operating system version 3.1, if any one can be of any help i would be thankful?

Technically giving you a copy isn't permitted because MS-DOS is copyrighted software, not for free distribution.

FreeDOS is freely available as open-source GPL software, and is basically compatible with 6.22

msdos isnt sold any more because a lot of sites say microsoft released it as abandonware it up ages ago and i might be able to download it for you email me to get it

No, MS-DOS has never been released for free, as abandonware or anything else.

i have dos 3.3 but it's ileagle to distribute it to you

You can not d/l any version of MS-DOS legally and use it seeing as MS hasn't released it as abandonware.

EDIT: Oh btw if you send that copy of MS-DOS 3.3 you will be breaking the law by distributing copyrighted material. That is not tolerated here at BC.
