First of all - Happy New Year everyone, and I hope  brought you all the goodies you were hoping for!

I'm not sure whether I'm still drunk from the brandy butter, but has there always been a black square next to the "quote" button in the messages here?

I'd never noticed it before......

Luci2a :flowers:

Sorry if its a silly question :trumpet:

You may possibly still be drunk but you are not seeing things. It is the report post button, it has been like that for sometime. I don't know when it started because I have been away for awhile.

That black box is the report post button - only to be used to report a flagrant
violation of forum rules or objectionable content.

It was changed by Admin as members were miss-using it for various other purposes.

HTH

Thank you both for that instant reassurance!

I do love this site....

Still not quite sure how sober I am though. Now I've got to settle down and help the youngest daughter get ready for her big gap year adventure - 6 months of astrophysics at Berkeley! Not forgetting a few days looking at the telescope in Hawaii! :flowers:

We're jealous too!

However - it's quite easy if you have the chutzpah! She heard about this project, designed for American kids, emailed the project director asking if she might qualify despite being a Brit - he said yes, and off she goes next week.....

Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
