How much are you willing to spend? Some come with a set a speakers, and some do not. Will you be willing to spend more money for a quality set?

The SB Aud LS that I have cost me $40 after rebate, and got the Altec Lansing 5.1 speakers for free after rebate. I think the regular prices for them was around $69 and $79 respectively.

forget newegg. they have horrible customer service most of the time, ship damaged goods trying to pass them off on unsuspecting users, and will charge you shipping three times when you attempt to return DOA gear. {rant off}

I take it you want to spend as little money as possible. Unless you're an audiophile there's no reason to waste money on an audigy. this will do you nicely:

I bought one for a friend for a purpose similar to yours. His sound card died and I replaced it with this. It installed easily and runs without issue.

Is $4.95USD within your budget? ;)
