I think I may finally be clear of all the viruses and worms but I GOTTA be sure. I'm having other problems and suspect it's hardware but I gotta make sure its not all the stuff I used to be infected with. Could someone look at my hijack log and tell me if I'm ok? Thanx. Here it is.

Oh & One More Thing: Does any one have the addy to an online driver cleaner. I think current problems I'm having may be because of my drivers. But I don't want to go into specifics. Just if someone could take a look at the hijack log and recommend a driver cleaner. Thanx a bunch.

We cannot do anything until you get SP1 and an active antivirus - it would be a waste of time to do any thing - also explain a driver cleaner.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...p1/default.mspx

Get the free AVG 7.5 install it, check for updates and run a full scan

Ok I downloaded the virus scan. Scanned (I'd been scanning with online scanners suggest by people here at bleeping computer.com). But I have the one you suggested downloaded, ran, and a ok. Now for sp1a... I thought my computer already had it... And when I go through your link and navigate myself through Microsoft to have my compute scanned for what I am supposed to be downloading the only thing it shows is SP2 which I cannot download. My computer has never been able to accept it. That's why I origionally came to bleepingcomputer.com. Then I got some viruses and worms. And the technicians were saying that's why I couldn't update to SP2. They wouldn't listen that I was having the problem BEFORE I got all the viruses and worms. But they just said get rid of the worms and viruses and had some really good suggestions. Now that I've gone through all that I think I've gotten rid of all of it but I just need my hijack log taken a look at to make sure so that I can go forward trying to figure out why my computer won't take SP2. Thanks for your help and I will try whatever you suggest. Here is my new hijack log:

Oh ya and about the driver cleaner: I've been getting errors involving my NVidia graphics driver (yes its updated). That graphics driver and graphics card is not the origional that came with this computer. I heard somewhere at bleepingcomputer.com that files and file fragments from a previous driver can still exist in a computer and conflict with the new driver. That a driver cleaner can clean out the old unneeded files. But I haven't heard much more about it other than that. I was curious if anyone knew any more about it and if they had a web addy for a download. Thinking maybe that is the root of the problem I'm having with SP2.

You did not get SP1 as instructed - I will not help until you do - I gave you the link for SP1 - you do not want SP2 until you are clean

I don't know what to tell you buddy. I went through the link you gave me and followed the instructions provided. When it scanned my computer it DID NOT offer sp1a as an option to update to. And as for you not willing to help me: Then don't and let someone else.
