hi!

i installed norton anti virus trialware on my maChine

sinCe then whenever i start Computer i get small window with following message:

OUT OF FREQUENCY
HF: 15.7 KHZ
vF: 1480 KHZ

OPERATING FREQUENCY
HF: 30.61 KHZ
vF: 50120 KHZ

POWER mANAGEmENT GIvES TImE ELAPSING IN SECONDS

AFTER PRESSING ENTER IT SHOWS DESKTOP

BUT IF I RESTART THEN IT GOES INTO SAFE mODE

Something is changing your monitor's refresh rate outside its normal range. if you uninstall norton does it go back to normal? OIn a side note, we recommend you use a product like AVG Pro instead of Norton as it tends to find more malware:

hi!

happy new year.

i tried to unistall norton antivirus 2005 thru control panel-add/remove programs. but it gives message. This MSI SHOULD BE LAUCHED THROUGH SETUP.

If you have the cd, insert the cd and run setup. It should give you a prompt to uninstall it
