I recently fell for a "download missing codec to view" scam. It has resulted in my having two blinking icons down by my clock, and a huge amount of pop-ups. The programs I have found on my computer that look suspicious to me are:
PMSMGR.EXE
PMMON.EXE
ISAMONITOR.EXE
ISAMINI.EXE
There may be others, but I have not found them yet.
All my attempts to remove these programs have failed. I run Symantec's full suite with personal firewall, and microsoft defender. None of these programs detect or remove the evil ones listed above. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi EOD OFFICER, Welcome to Bc forums

I suggest you run the smitfraud fix in the link below. You've probably contracted the downloader virus Zlob with the codec as indicated by the ISAMINI file.
