Can anyone help me discover and repair the cause of this, as it is happening just about every time I use the internet, and it locks up my connect/disconnect so I have to reboot each time.

I checked Microsots and they do not list anything under this error code to do with svchost or netapi

thanks for any and all help

Would this help?

the problem is the new exploit which attacks ppl through open ports, that affects the netapi32.dll which can be easily fixed ...

Solution:
Download Windows Worms Door Cleaner

http://www.firewallleaktester.com/tools/wwdc.exe

and close all ports, many of u should get ur problems fixed with it

Good Luck
