Often at wrok, I find myself needing to make a packet of documents for people consiting of many seperate documents that need to be printed in order (and with staples -- I love our Xerox machine when I need staples!). Whenever I need to get more than one packet, rather than printing each document seperately and then manually collate each packet, I use a program called Batch & Print Pro. It lets me create a list of all the documents, put them in order and save the list for later use. I can also save special printer settings for later use. Once the job is loaded, the program will send the documents, with all the special settings I've indicated, to the print spooler in proper order.

Unfortunately, it's not a freebie, but it saves a bunch of hassle.
