Somehow, changes are being made to my personal, notebook that I do not recall making myself. I have two "power on" passwords on my computer before Windows XP even begins to initiate. Is it possible for someone on my family network, that knows the name of my computer, to us a program such as HP's Wireless Assistant to gain entry into my computer like, remotely? sorry if this is a dumb question. Obviously I'm not real well versed on computer functions.

I'm also finding a lot of "encoding" in my system. Like a previous WAB. Is there a way to "un" encode the script?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, there are ways to get into your system using wireless networking tools. If the person knows your logon and password it's very easy to do.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
