computer is 2 years old. system froze up with series of high pitched beeps. reset system and it starts to load windows but stops flashes a blue screen for a tenth of a second then resets.

Do you have SP2, and if so, can you boot into the Safe Mode selection screen? If so, you can disable the automatic reboot there.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
