As Vista doesn't support MSGINA.dll, what happen to the existing applications using their own higher version of GINA for non-standard authentication like smartCard or biometrics. What is the workaround for such applications apart from redesigning or redevelopment of the application?

I am not familiar with Gina apps, but the general rule of thumb is to run the app in XP compatibility mode and run it as an Administrator. It doesn't work all the time, but it does work often enough that it's worth a try.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
