at the moment i dont have a dual layer dvd writer so how do i copy video dvd to my hard drive so i can burn back to dvd can u use nero

DVDShrink is probably what you're looking for. I believe www.majorgeeks.com is still mirroring the download.

The old version of DVD Decrypter works very well.

Of course, I never use it and do not condone the unauthorized reproduction of Intellectual Property...
