First time poster, be gentle.
I had a trojan virus, had to restore computer, now the internet connection is REALLY slow on bb, all other computers run fine on it so it's not the connection, I am puzzled. Any ideas?

yes, I did a virus scan it was a trojan generic and some other variety of the trojan virus, I got rid of them(hopefully) and thought the restore would be a simple act(which it was) and everything on the computer pulls up fast enought its just that darned internet thing.

When you say you "restored the computer," do you mean you used System Restore? If not, what do you mean?

There are also these possibilities, and I want to be sure just what it was you did.

Operating system repair

Operating system reinstallation

What is your internet connexion speed?
You can find this in the Networking Panel in Windows Task Manager.

By slow connexion, are you referring to how your browser operates or how long it takes to download files?

John

I found the problem, it was so simple. It was a bad cable, a bad, bad bbbaaaaddd cable. And it only took three people two days to figure this out.

Thanks for all the help, this is a great website.
