Missing Dll

To cut a long story short went into tskmngr & shut down some programes. One of the things i shut down was ybrwicon.exe & now when i try to open my browser (bt internet) all i get is a blnk screen that says Loading. But nothing else happens cannot even get into email or anything else. how can i reinstall this missing thingy. i tried going into tskmngr to start new task but was told file no longer exists :thumbsup:

If it is listed in the Add/Remove programs, click on it and see if it has a repair option.

The next thing to try would be a system restore.

Is Yahoo your dialup ISP? If not, can you access Internet Explorer or Firefox Browser?

i have tried system restore & it wont let me at any date it is not in my add/remove screen

sry yes i can get into firefox but not bt yahoo which is my main browser. i'm not on dial up. sry new to all this

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Yahoo BT browser. I've seen a lot of problems with the Yahoo stuff (here on the other side of the pond) when it's coupled with an ISP's software.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
