I was wondering if there is a way to view your internets history after you have deleted it from the history sidebar.

Even after History deletion you have a chance view visited URLs by exploring cookies and cache. Also IE does not always delete all history tracks from index.dat files. Try this software
http://www.585Soft.com/IEhistoryX.asp it's not a free, but you can try it for 30 days without any limitations.
This is not a 100% way to detect visited sites but this is a way to try to restore user activity tracks.
