Hi

I am unable to run any application other than internet explorer and outlook express, I am getting the error "Application failed to initialize properly (0x0150004). click OK to terminate the application". One of the automatic windows update installed IE7, and I think all this started happening after that install. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I suggest you visit the HijackThis section of these forums. This problem is usually associated with a virus/trojan.

To get your executables working scroll down to EXE File Association Fix. Download and run it.

I would seriously do the following.
