Hello all. I'm new here so this may not be the proper place to post my question. Also, I'm extremely ignorant about computers except maybe the basics, and have to be led a step at a time in order to understand what is being taught. My problem is that I can't clear my internet history like I could a couple of weeks ago. I go to the toolbar at the top & click VIEW, then EXPLORER BAR or SIDEBAR, then HISTORY. Now when I select a category & click DELETE, nothing happens. It used to delete the items but now does nothing. Can anyone guide me with some kind of solution?

Assuming you're using IE:

Open Internet Explorer.
In the Toolbar, at the top, click Tools.
Select Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Click on Clear History.
Click Yes.
Click OK.

tq1911 - thanks for the input. I have been using both Internet Explorer & Mozilla Firefox but the only one that wouldn't clear was Mozilla. I thought I had done the TOOLS thing with no success, but this time when I tried it the history cleared. Thank you for your suggestion. It took care of my ignorance. bigdum
