I just bought the contents of another business which included several computers. One of these computers has Windows Professional on it, and when it boots up, it asks for a User name and password. If you enter the wrong password, it allows you to reboot. After several attemps, it locks the computer down. Even when I try booting in safe mode, it brings up this screen. Is there a way to reset Windows and get rid of the signon screen?

It is against board rules for us to tell you how to bypass/reset the password. Ask the business you bought the PC from.

 Imagine that. Asking the business isn't an option - the owner died. I did find a boot though, and a door sign that said administrator. Thank God I didn't need a password to get into my office. Thanks for the help though.
