I am trying to view photographs as a Slide Show from a folder in "My Pictures".
Anyone know how to change the time that a slide is shown on the screen.
At present when i view the slide show each picture is only shown for about 2 - 3 secs, and I would like to make this about 10 secs.
Any idea how to change this please?

Here is an article that may help explain: http://malektips.com/xpwtw0020.html

Thanks, Did as you suggested, but, don't get the option to extend the tome in TweakUI. Maybe I've done something wrong. Going to unistall and reinstall and try again

I assume you are using "MS Picture It" to accomplish what you are trying to do.

I looked all through the program and do not see a timing control.

You may want to try a freeware ap like Google's Picasa

From the article I linked to above:

1) Start Tweak UI (read the tips in MalekTips for downloading / installation information).

2) Click the "Explorer" link.

3) This should expand the tree. Click "Slide Show".

4) Next to "Time per picture (ms)", enter the amount of milliseconds you would like each image to appear before the next one shows onscreen. For example, if you want images to appear for 2 seconds, enter 2000. If you want pictures to appear for 7 seconds, choose 7000.

5) Click "OK" to close Tweak UI.
