Hi everyone.Could really use some help with this one.Found out that my homepage was hijacked,managed to sort it out using Xoftspy SE.I thought this was ok until I realized that I cant get into some of my favourite sites Google,E-Bay etc, it just directs me to a dodgy looking search engine site.I am running XP home with IE 6.Hope someone can help.Thanks in advance.Nigemode. P.S title should of course be Browser.Cheers.

After going through the guide Fozzie provided the link for, create a new topic in this forum, not here and give it a good descriptive title. Briefly outline your problem in your post saying what you have done and what worked and didn't work and put your HJT log in that post.

After posting your log, Do not make any further changes to your computer such as installing or installing programs, trying additional fixes etc. as this will make it harder for the team to help you.

Please be patient, as the HJT team is very busy. Do not bump your log as the team may think that someone is already helping you. If you have not had a response in five days, add a reply to the five day no response topic and paste in the link to your HJT log.
