So for christmas I decided I should ask for an Mp3 player, I really need one. I just cant decide on one at all right now, and its killing me! So, here are the pros and cons (in my opinion, and of how each will be useful for me)

Vision M:
Pros:
  • Cheapest of the three, at 200 dollers.
  • 4 times as many colors as the other two, resulting in a BEAUTIFUL picture, movies look awesome.
  • Multi-format movie support, the other two only support one or two formats.
  • Voice recorder and Fm tuner
  • Sleek-looking
  • Able to be used as a hard drive.
Cons:
No real cons, other than the fact that the others have some better features.

Toshiba MES60VK Gigabeat 60 GB (260 dollers)
Pros:
  • TWICE as big hard drive wise as the other two
  • Able to be used as a hard drive (thats a lot of extra crap)
  • Supposedly has a 20 hour battery life, not so sure about that one though.
  • Hard to scratch thanks to the special plastic used in making it.
  • Fm tuner
  • Crystal clear sound and the display is nice also.
Cons:
  • Smaller screen
  • Very limited movie formats accepted.
  • Hardware problems are common
  • Random data loss also seems to happen quite frequently.
  • Most expensive.
And now the Zune

Zune (250 dollers)

Pros:
  • Newer
  • GIANT 3 inch screen
  • Stylish
  • Wi-fi capabilities
  • Easy to use with windows
  • Giant screen.
Cons:
  • Cant be used as a hard drive, major bummer
  • Severly limited in the movie format
  • less than average battery life
  • A bit bulky
  • User reviews give it a 6.3/10, not so good compared to the others.
  • Everyone is going to get one, this is the same reason im not getting an Ipod. lol

Well, theres the pros and cons, now...help me to choose!!!!

Make sure you know that if you plan to use one of these to jog a hard drive based one is a bad idea. Hard drive based ones arent as reliable as flash either.

I have a small 1gb flash one from samsung. They now have them up to 8gb in flash which is nice.

The first one seems to be the best. The zune has bad reviews and I would stay far away from it. Ipods are overrated. They dont have near the features others have and arent the best looking ones.

Well jogging wont be a problem, so I'll be happy with a hard drive based player.

Ebay also sells them and they are usually cheaper on there.
Have fun with your new mp3 player.

I would stay away from the zune. Sandisk has some nice mp3 players.

Don't even think about the Zune bad idea... They aren't even compatible with microsoft's own software... You can't sink with Windows Media Player for example...

Personnally I would go with the Vision M... You seem to not have any cons with it, I personnaly like Creative and it is not the most expensive and do you really need 60 gigs of space? If you don't then go with the Vision M in my opinion.
