hi all i have been trying to uninstall morpheus and managed to uninstall all of it (i think)manually with the exception of a dll file located in c:program files/morpheus called "MorphShellExt.dll" which it wont let me delete even in safe mode.....any ideas would be appreciated tia

I too have been trying to get rid of Morpheus - I uninstalled it twice, went to Control panel, add/remove programs - most of it was deleted EXCEPT for morpheus toolbar which I can't delete even from Add/Remove and the remaining files in my program files is a SkinData folder, MorphShellExt.dll & MorphHelper.dll. which will not delete. My computer has been slow for the past month since I deleted this p2p and I am also getting about 500-700 junk emails a day. Although I "do not" have a p2p program right now, when I shut down, it still says that others are logged onto my computer. Can anyone help me with this?????? :flowers: :trumpet:

What firewall do you have?

Try the following :

Download Ccleaner here. Install and update it.
Go to options and advanced and tick " prompt to backup register problems"
Uninstall Morpheus and directly after that open Ccleaner. First tick problems and select all with registry. Analyze and at the end you will get a pormpt to back up your registry Default location will be MY DOCUMENTS.

2nd step : Klick on Cleaner and have it clean up your computer

3rd step : Go to www.ewido.net and do an online scan. Have it remove all infected items and than reboot.
