My Pc Takes Too Long To Boot Up

Whenever I switch on my pc it takes very long for it to boot up,sometimes I have to push the restart button for it to finally boot up.However as soon as i get into my OS,XP pro it runs smoothly and is very stable.What could be causing this? and what can i do?

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I did all the steps on the link but iI am still getting the same results.Would you know the cause of this.

Could you post a list of all programs which are loading at startup? W hat kind of Antivirus protection do you have?

I am using AVG free for my anti-virus. Here are the programs that load at start-up:
Big Fix
Anti-crash
Hare
XP Clean-up
Googlw Web Accelerator
Yahoo Pager
Disk keeper

Yes, I even disabled all of them from start-up and I still get the same results.

How are you on Free disk space? Did you try to defrag your HDD?
Check it on errors? (My computer- rightclick on your harddisk-Properties-
Exra-Check on errors- Tick the both options you have in that window.
Reboot. Your HDD will now be checked.

What do you use as anti spyware

I have 30gb free space out of 40gb.I have defragged and I am using Spybot.
