I've been having this time for quite some time with both of the browers. I mainly use Firefox though. It's just this little but absolutely annoying problem that occur on many sites, like here for example. On many sites where I've got an account to a forum, when I log in, everything's ok. But when I click for example a thread link or something, I'm suddenly logged out. This usually occurs after one or two clicks. So I have to keep logging in again and again on some forums to get even to post any reply, or to access some restricted forum areas that would be only available to registered members or so. It has helped on some sites accepting the option "Remember Me", but still that hasn't been totally able to make the problem go away. It helps though not to need login all over again, just go "back" and click it again. Then again other sites it hasn't helped. This mostly for different kind of PHP forums. Then for my Yahoo!Mail account, I occasionally get a "Cookie expired" error, again even if I had just logged in. It helps though just to click "Back" again. But then when I try to login to my hotmail account.. I dunno what's up with it, but I've got more chance to win in the lottery, than to get to see the mail there on this PC. I write my login & pass, click OK, but what, I'm most of the time back in the login page. It still sometimes takes me to the mail, but when I try to open my inbox, I get the same all over again , back in the login page.

I've checked my cookie settings for both browsers more than once, and they should be all OK. I've scanned my PC with several online virus scanners plus a few anti-spyware programs. So far with all the stuff found and deleted the problem hasn't still gone away, so I'm beginning to wonder that what the hell is the problem. I've even reinstalled both browsers couple times with no avail. I'm really running out clues here..

Edit: I've also tried manually deleting all cookie files I can find on my system, emptying my temp folders..

Here's my HijackThis log:

Hello there and welcome to Bleeping Computer's security forum.

I see a clean log here, there are no signs of malware or anything that may cause the Cookie problems you are having. I recommend that you post your question in the following forum as you will recieve better help there. Let them know you have had your Hijackthis log checked, and it isn't a serious security issue.
