How would i go about bridging my wireless connection on my laptop with the local area connection so i can access the internet on another device (game system) via crossover cable through an ethernet port?

As long as yopu set the gateway IP address as that of the wireless IP of the connected PC that should be OK. I personally would make sure that they were on 2 networks just to save confusion. Basically run the PC / Laptop as a Gateway.
