I have windows 2000, when i try to listen to cd's or windows media player or videos or any thing with sound
a screen tells me there is no sound card. There is, it is on my motherboard, when i go to device manager it says there is no problem, could someone please help me
Try updating the driver of the Sound Card, go to the motherboard's website and look for the sound card driver. I used to have a problem like this and after updating the drivers everything is in order now.
