Is it possible to have ssh on 2 desktop windows xp pro systems to transfer files? (movie files etc etc)

I have ssh client setup on 2 computers and when i try to connect, it fails. When I do a ping on both computers, there is activity. But when i try and connect, it fails. I disabled Zone Alarm firewall plus the default windows firewall and it still fails to connect. I'm very sure that I entered the correct host name and username because I double checked.

So what am I doing wrong? As of now, I am stumped and I don't know where to look to get this resolved.

I'm Sorry you confused me for a bit, I'm not sure what you mean by cables, can you please explain? Are you referring to computer cables? If so, I'm very sure that I have everything connected.

By the way, I'm not using OpenSSH as in Putty(which I'm not fimiliar with). I am using SSH Non Commercial Version from ssh.com
