Here's the problem;

I have a bunch of old VHS home movies. I transferred them to DVD-R's on a Samsung DVD-VR320 DVD RAM-RW-R Recorder/VCR. I can play these DVD's in the DVD recorder no problem, but they won't work in my computer. When I put the DVD in my Lite-On DVD-+R DVD Burner SHM-165H63, it says there's no disc in the drive. I know the drive works, as I can play DVD+R's and burn them in the drive. But for some reason these won't work.

Suggestions??

I believe that you'll need some sort of DVD player software (similar to the stuff that comes on Rental Movies). It'll require that you install it on your hard drive. The InterVideo player is the first one that comes to mind for me.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
