I'm on the market for a new laptop, to use for daily emails , internet, etc.
Could you advice me , what should I have to look for, speed, memory, hard drive, duo core, etc. to be a good computer at an affordable price.
Thank you for your help!

This depends on what you want to use the laptop for, and how fast you want it to run. For email and general internet browsing almost any will do - but the more you spend, the faster it will be (generally).

First, I'd suggest visiting a store that sells laptops and trying some of them out. Find one that you like (using the prices as a general guideline) and write down the make and model number. (for example, my wife likes her HP because of it's keyboard - but I like my Toshiba because of it's size).

Then, visit http://www.pricegrabber.com and start looking for deals. I buy frequently from vendors on that site and haven't been burned yet (although I only buy from those vendors that have at least a hint of color in the 5th star of their 5 star rating system).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
